Distribution of Educational Materials to the Students of the City of San Juan

Pinaglabanan Elementary School, San Juan City June 11, 2026 As part of the government’s intensified push to improve foundational literacy, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. leads the distribution of learning resources to public school learners at Pinaglabanan Elementary School in San Juan City on June 11, 2026. The event highlights the government’s continued efforts to strengthen learner support, expand access to quality education, and promote technology-enabled instruction through the distribution of tablets, school bags, learning supplies and literacy materials. The program also includes classroom visits, demonstrations of smart TVs and tablets, and an orientation for beneficiaries of the Bagong Pilipinas Presidential Merit Scholarship Program. This initiative supports the Department of Education’s (DepEd) nationwide literacy drive for Kindergarten through Grade 3 learners, helping Filipino children build strong foundational reading skills and succeed in their learning journey.
