Interpreters' Reveal: ZOOM Basics
What do you need to work in the simultaneous mode on ZOOM? If you're just getting started, check out this video on the basic things you'll need and how the system works. Make sure you use a computer, not a table, download the ZOOM client, have a good headset (not, you can't use the mic on your machine!), a stable hard-wired connection to the Internet (via Ethernet) and a nice, quiet space. Remember: simultaneous interpreting is EXHAUSTING. Make sure you follow professional standards and best practices!
