Roni Horn: Garden of Paradox
On the occasion of Roni Horn’s solo exhibition in Menorca, Ursula presents a conversation between Horn and researcher Isabel de Naverán about some of the ideas and inspirations that have underpinned Horn’s work, among them the literature of Emily Dickinson, Flannery O’Connor and Jorge Luis Borges; the dualities of isolation and presence (“of being where you are when you're there”); and the relationship between chemical and material realities. ‘Roni Horn’ is on view from 11 May – 27 October 2024 at Hauser & Wirth Menorca, featuring a selection of sculptures and installations that interact with the historical gallery spaces and natural surroundings. Ursula is a magazine of contemporary culture by Hauser & Wirth. – Hauser & Wirth is an international contemporary and modern art gallery with spaces in Zurich, London, Somerset, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Gstaad, St. Moritz, Monaco, Menorca and Paris. – Subscribe to Hauser & Wirth’s YouTube: / @hauserwirth Sign up to Hauser & Wirth’s Newsletter: https://bit.ly/2ZIsYel Follow Hauser & Wirth on: Instagram: https://bit.ly/2TJN3gs Facebook: https://bit.ly/3exHrxX X: https://bit.ly/2Agqbyo
