Missa Tango and Mucho Cielo - 2014 Coro Sinfônico Comunitário da UnB

Recording of Martin Palmeri "Misa a Buenos Aires" or "Missa tango" and Omar Massa's premiered work "Mucho Cielo" from the Gala Concert of the Coro Sinfônico Comunitário da Universidade de Brasília recorded on November 28th and 29th, 2014 at Teatro Poupex Hall, Brasília, Brazil. Soloists: Bandoneón: ‪@omarmassamusic‬ Soprano: Patricia Tavares Piano: ‪@DulyMittelstedt‬ Music Director: Maestro David Junker Coro Sinfônico Brings a special concert featuring the "Tango Mass" that was repeated from the year before due to its tremendous success with the public. Written in 2013, this work mixes liturgical elements explored in the voice parts with the typical instrumentation of the Argentinian Tango style, bringing up Bandoneón as the instrument soloist, together with the soprano and the piano. This program includes a worldly premiere of the work named "Mucho Cielo", giving a tribute to the Brasilia's sky as well as dedicating this piece to the Choral group as well as its conductor.
