How America (USA) Messed Me Up PART 1| #TikTok #Compilation

January 20, 2021 is a new day for the United States of America. In this video, we, US Americans acknowledge that our country is in fact flawed. Our experiences abroad have clearly shown us how the other half lives - free of fear with gun control, unafraid to call an ambulance or seek medical attention, able to maintain work/life balance. I am grateful for the life I had in the U.S. but I do not plan to return until things seriously change for the better. These TikTok videos show the importance of traveling abroad to see first hand how other people live with a month of vacation days per year, universal health care, safe schools and global awareness. My intention was not to 'bash' the U.S. but to merely point out the issues I previously wasn't aware of. My hope is that our elected officials will listen to citizens as well as world leaders and create policies that will make the U.S. safer and better for everyone. But we need to start by taking a good hard look in the mirror and realizing that there's a whole lot of work to be done before we get there. I want to start by opening up a discussion and reaching out to people from all over the world to hear about their experiences. I've already learned so much. Thank you to everyone who stitched my TikTok and I hope to see many more. This compilation was created based on users' privacy preferences and subject matter to avoid repetition.
