Dal Cilento a Scampia: ecco il cartoon contro la plastica in mare per sensibilizzare gli studenti

"Princess Primula, a sea of plastic." This is the name of the cartoon funded by the Cilento National Park to raise awareness among students about the plastic emergency in the sea. It will be presented tomorrow in Scampiam, Friday, February 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the E. Montale school as part of the "Water yes... but plastic free" initiative. It is the first episode of the animated cartoon born from the publishing success of the educational comic "Easy Stories - Princess Primula," distributed free of charge primarily in Cilento schools. The aim is to spread good environmental practices and civic awareness in protecting and respecting the territory. On this occasion, the short comic film created by the Controlzeta Lab team with drawings by Paco Desiato will be screened. The initiative will be attended by Dr. Tommaso Pellegrino, President of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park; Gennaro Maione, President of the CONSAC; Apostolos Paipais, President of the Scampia District; Romano Gregorio, Director of the Park Authority; Principal Paola Carnevale and Principal Maria De Biase; and Barbara Pierro of the Chi Rom e...Chi No social promotion association. In addition, 500 aluminum water bottles bearing the Cilento Park brand will be given away to encourage children to use plastic consciously and to promote the concept of "plastic-free" among children and in schools. The initiative is part of a long-standing program that the Montale school has been pursuing with the Chi Rom e...Chi No association on the topic of environmental protection through creative and storytelling experiences. Additionally, students in fourth and fifth grade, with the help of their teachers, will be able to write a short story that will become the next storyboard for the fourth issue of the comic, which will be published this spring. The suggested topic for the comic is "the Mediterranean diet." Edited by Anna Laura De Rosa Subscribe to Repubblica: https://s.repubblica.it/scopridipiu .
