Robert Scherrer, a Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Vanderbilt University and an SCS Board member, discusses what the standard cosmological model suggests regarding the future of our universe. His research work focuses on cosmology, encompassing dark energy, dark matter, big bang nucleosynthesis, and the large-scale structure of the universe.
