This is Part 2 of our Mount Apo Day Hike journey. After preparing the day before, we start the climb at midnight and make our way through the trail in the dark—relying on one flashlight, pushing through the cold, and slowly making our way up. As the sun rises, the landscape changes into a completely different environment—mossy forests, open boulder sections, and volcanic terrain. This is where the climb becomes the most challenging.
