Over half a year ago a video was posted on the Sovelmash YouTube channel. In that video we demonstrated the cutting speed of two angle grinders: an Interskol grinder with a collector motor and a similar grinder with induction built-in motor developed by Sovelmash. State standards, specifications for power tools were studied, samples were purchased and so on. We took angle grinders with output of 2600 W, 2300 W and 2100 W as a base. The tests carried out resulted in better performance over the collector motor. At the moment, in addition to the tests, we are currently calculating the production cost for batches of different amounts, for the production of drive and power tools. We are also optimising the price for the components.
