Yami & St'Effy (Paris) YAMI, Professor of Semba, Kizomba, and Bachata (Modern and Dominican), and creator of Step-One Dance Company, made his debut a few years ago in PARIS. He learned the basics from a friend, a long-time dancer of Kizomba. But, it is with his adaptability and the various influences of capoeira, dancehall, and hip-hop, that he perfected and forged a style all his own. In Bachata, he took courses by the great international teachers Jorjet Alcocer & Troy Anthony, and Ataca y La Alemana, but once again added his own style. Growing as an artist for the last 3 years, he is more and more requested for his energy, and for both his teaching and dance skills. ST'EFFY, professional dancer, Professor of Modern Jazz, and professional graduate of L'Académie Internationale de la Danse, stumbled by chance onto the world of Latin dance. She was caught by the passion. Following her first lessons, she frequented Parisian parties and various international festivals where she was spotted by Yami. In 2011, she became his dance partner complementing Yami with her charm, femininity, lady styling, and technical skills.
