Grizzly Peak Century 2025 - 50th Anniversary. A scenic cycling tour around the SF East Bay.

This is the 50th anniversary of the Grizzly Peak Century. That’s amazing, 50 years. That number speaks for itself, its popularity and the people running this event. We get full support, with bike repairs, food and drinks at every 25 miles at each rest stop. The volunteers are simply amazing in what they do and volunteering their time to help cyclists like us to have a safe and fun time on the road. The cycling route is 100 miles with 9,400 ft of elevation gain, going through many cities and towns in the east bay. Starting from Moraga, to San Leandro, Oakland Hills, Berkeley, East Richmond, Hercules, Rodeo the industrial city, Alhambra Valley, and back to the starting point. Don’t let the total elevation gain of 9,400ft scared you off, there are no huge and steep climbs but there are a total of 17 climbs with rolling hills. Along the way, there are only two major climbs of over 1,200 ft but the slopes are fairly gradual and not difficult.
