And it does a nice job of it. The camera will record a 720p video by slowly piecing it together frame by frame. In the case of a night shoot it'll take a photo every 20 seconds or so. Scenes with better light allow for shorter intervals. The longer the frame intervals the longer it will take to build a viewable video. Output is surprisingly good. This won't look as good as a high-end SLR but I was able to capture some good nighttime imagery without having to put a more expensive camera out in the elements overnight. Brinno has really mastered power management too. My loaner unit was left out for two full nights and had plenty of additional usage in between. The batteries held out for at least 24 hours of continuous usage which is an impressive result. What I like best about the camera is its simplicity and the high likelihood you'll get usable footage out of it. It's almost completely foolproof.
