New Balance Fuelcell Rebel v4 | Te recibirán con los brazos abiertos

https://www.roadrunningreview.com/es/... New Balance has a very special shoe in its lineup. Special for many of you, but also very special for us. The Rebel has reached its fourth version, and from what we can see in the images, the FuelCell Rebel v4 will be one of those shoes that will leave a lasting impression on many. In case anyone isn't familiar with it yet, the New Balance FuelCell Rebel is probably New Balance's most "fun" shoe. A fast, lightweight, flexible, and attractive model. For some, it's a light training shoe; for others, a model for quality workouts; and for many more, a competition shoe. The FuelCell Rebel is the kind of shoe every brand wants in its catalog. The new Rebel v4 is back, maintaining the spirit for which we all know it, but adapting to the times with a spectacular design. In addition to significantly increased cushioning thanks to the raised midsole profile, the Rebel v4 incorporates a new version of FuelCell. For the first time, Pebax takes over the lower part of this shoe, as it will in many models in the SuperComp line in 2024, with the aim of not only significantly reducing the shoe's weight but also providing unprecedented feel and responsiveness. This is why the Rebel positions itself as a model that, like few others, bridges the worlds of training and competition. Another thing that catches our attention in this new version is the design and finish of the new chassis. The cuts in the heel, along with the more aggressive geometry, could be a significant change (compared to the v3) in terms of the shoe's feel and overall experience. Furthermore, as we were told, the width of the heel and forefoot has been increased. Meanwhile, and as we've seen, for example, in the new SuperComp Elite v4 or even the Trainer v3, the Rebel v4 features a new upper with Formfit technology. This new configuration continues to prioritize the breathability and lightness of the fabric while also aiming to provide the necessary support and fit in specific areas of the foot. Regarding the sole, the Rebel v4 has a design very similar to that of the SC Elite v4 in terms of rubber distribution, but as you'll see, there are no grooves or spaces dividing it. This shoe doesn't have any type of plate in its structure, which means that flexibility and a more "natural" foot movement are guaranteed (without compromising responsiveness). RUNNER TYPE: There's no shoe that pleases everyone, but we have to admit that this one is one of those that could. The New Balance Fuelcell Rebel is a shoe that some find tame and others find untamable. It's a flexible and lightweight model that runners who love to feel the ground while running will appreciate, but fans of plates and rigidity will likely detest. As a hybrid for practically everything, the New Balance Rebel v4 is ideally positioned as a training shoe for lightweight and midweight runners, and perhaps for some, as we mentioned before, for those who don't want plates, for racing. DISTANCE: More of the same. We ran a half marathon in its previous version and had no problems, but we have to admit that this shoe is one of those that, if you don't have a minimum level of technique and muscle strength, can work against you. The increased profile and the addition of Pebax as a material in the FuelCell could be a real boon for runners considering it for longer runs or races. However, at first glance (without having tested it yet), we still believe that this New Balance shoe will perform best during training runs or races of both short and medium distances. 00:00 Introduction 01:25 Runner Type 06:00 Pace 11:20 Distance -------------------------------- YouTube:    / @roadrunningreview   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/roadrunningr...
