The Orange Order & Protestant Unionist Loyalist Community should be very Proud of themselves for the way in which they behaved on the walk down the Crumlin Road on their way to the July 12th Celebrations. While passing those who want to try & erase the P.U.L communities Proud Culture, they held their heads high. There is those within the media that wanted PUL members to cause trouble. Rubbing their hands in the hope of a story. Every parade they point cameras at the PUL community & even though Sectarian Republicans are burning & wrecking, they then report how it was a contentious parade, forgetting to mention in their reports that Republican Violence has made it contentious. Reporters who have bought into the Romantic Struggle Story fed to them by the Republican PR machine for years. Reporters who wait, with hands out hoping for a little bit more, on Gerry or another Sectarian Killer to give them a scoop. A scoop that will no doubt pour scorn on the PUL community. All the crimes of SF IRA forgot about. Today they didnt get their story. Also, the PUL community hope that the small number of protesters who came out to appose the parade will eventually come to understand that we mean them no harm.
