Live recording of "True Love" from the release concert in 2012    • Eivør - True Love. Live recording from 2012   I submitted the music video for this song for Part 1 of last month’s Halloween series and promised to send a live version, so here are two. The first is from the release concert for Eivør‘s 2012 album “Room,” and features her with a full band and chorus. The second is Eivør performing alone in 2018 Los Angeles with just a guitar and foot pedals. It is also I believe the second video I’ve sent in where I am in the crowd . I am not visible because the Songs From A Room (Sofar) people wanted young well-kempt hipster types up front and I looked like Rasputin in 3/4 length leather and probably a European black metal shirt, my usual uniform at the time. But her sound engineer was a friend of a friend from my transcontinental years, so I’m standing by him in the back. First and only time seeing her here in the States.
