Ioanna Kazoglou plays SnowDrop by Vassiliev on a 2025 Raffaele Dantone guitar — MaderaGuitarras.com
Raffaele Dantone is one of the most outstanding guitar makers of the new generation in Italy in our opinion, and one who stands out especially for us at Madera. We are impressed by his instruments, his aesthetic sensibility, and above all, his innate talent for guitar making. Raffaele Dantone 2025 classical guitar available at: https://maderaguitarras.com/shop/raff... Ioanna Kazoglou is a classical guitarist from Greece, born in 2003. She began studying guitar at age 7 and continued her musical education at the Music School of Thessaloniki and later in Weimar, Germany, with Ricardo Gallén. She has won several international competitions, including first prizes in Vienna, Spain, and Greece. Kazoglou has performed across Europe, South Korea, Brazil, Chile, Puerto Rico... both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles. At Madera, she is one of our favorite guitarists. We deeply admire her as a remarkable artist and truly enjoy her joyful and warm personality. "Snowdrop" is a piece by Russian-German guitarist and composer Konstantin Vassiliev. It's the second movement in his collection Three Forest Paintings, along with The Old Oak and Dance of the Forest Ghosts. Inspired by nature, these works aim to express landscapes and emotions through music. The snowdrop (Galanthus) is a symbolic flower that blooms at the end of winter and is common in Northern Europe, including Germany, where Vassiliev lives. Its name suggests a droplet of snow, reflecting its shape and color. In this context, it symbolizes hope, renewal, and delicacy. MaderaGuitarras.com @maderaguitarras
