Violin Repair - Part 2: Re-glue Saddle, Shape & Install New Nut
In this video I get the saddle cleaned up and glued back in place. I then shape and fit a new nut including cutting in the string slots. I also talked a bit about the templates I made years ago to help me when I do orchestra repairs. Be on the look out for part 3 where I take care of what's left to finish this repair. I will show you how I shape and fit a new bridge, then we can string it up and see how it sounds.
