Owlet Canyon: Death Valley Discoveries Ep. 18

Explorer Steve Hall returns to his roots of hiking through areas of Death Valley NP which have never before been documented. This time, he hikes into a remote canyon in the Owlsheads which he has had his sights on for the past five years. The canyon proves to be smaller than most but beautiful and interesting, with four major dry falls to get past which all presented unique challenges. Steve decided to name this place Owlet Canyon in view of its small size and unique beauty (the same traits of a baby Owl). The discovery of and exploration of Owlet Canyon is showcased in Death Valley Discoveries Episode 18. The mouth of Owlet Canyon is located at: 35.648209, -116.621919.
