Good day/evening and happiest holidays to all! 🎻🥰 I hope you are all well and keeping up positive energies during this highly unusual festive season! Today I am delighted to share this new video which is a "One Take" (Complete!) Performance of the Paganini Caprice No.1!! :) I have had the tremendous experience of winning several international violin competitions thanks to a technique my father developed for my exceptionally small hands. He also made the bow which I am playing with here, and it is absolutely my favourite bow in the world. Thank you, daddy!! I am truly honoured to share this with you all because it is essentially a representation of collected work/practice/discipline of over 20 years to arrive at this performance...I could play all "8-notes" at a slightly slower tempo about 15-20 years ago (and it was effective for live performance that way) but increasing the speed to where it is today and still maintaining 8 notes is really a killer!
