My Tribute to Superman & Supergirl - set to Remy Zero's "Save Me" (2026 update)

(update - Mid 2026) My tribute to Superman & Supergirl. Highlighting their iconic appearances in live action and animation. We have a new movie for our new Supergirl soon, we got a new season of an excellent animated series soon, so things are looking good for our favorite Kryptonians! SPOILER ALERT: Some housekeeping: I limited the footage to animated and live action appearances and not just blink and you miss cameos (like Shazam). I know Black Adam falls under that category also but if things played out differently, it would have been a turning point for the DCEU movies, Flash aside. I kept problematic actor Dean Cain, because I chose the only acceptable clip of him from the show, in light of his disgusting views. Trust me I didn't include any of the DC Animated direct to video releases because there were so many, and it could fill a video like this on their own. Quality of work had nothing to do with exclusion. I also didn't include any Lego & Imaginext content also. Same reason. This does include Supergirl actors like Helen Slater, Melissa Benoist, Sasha Calle, and Milly Alcock. They are all phenomenal talents and deserve praise, and their work deserves celebration also. Laura Vandervoort wasn't highlighted because Smallville is already represented. I also wanted to include only non-directly interactive works, so no Superman on Atari or Superman 64 (good!) but DC Heroes United was allowed because while there is a voting component, you can still watch without voting. I didn't include the 70s musical because it didn't fit the theme of this video and the video quality of what I could find was not up to par. Added a few missing shows like Titans, the Filmation Superboy, Teen Titans Go!, the cameo in 2025 Superman for Supergirl, and updated the dates format and info Also no commercials also, so none of the Seinfeld ones or whatnot. I shuffled some of the videos around, because I had to accommodate space. I went with what seemed to flow with the music based on the footage, as opposed to something like chronological order. I chose this song over John Williams only because some of the clips felt better with this song. Some of the clips came off sillier with the Williams score IMHO. I'm still not opposed to taking another crack at it with different footage in the future, if any interest. All the properties belong to DC & Warner Brothers and their respective rights holders. Please support them by buying the DVDs, Blu Ray or 4K if available, or digital copies, or buy the proper streaming platform to support and enjoy these works. Also support Remy Zero.
