Emuparadise is (sorta) gone! NOW WHAT?

Seems like Nintendo's legal offensive against emulation has felled an unexpected victim -- EmuParadise, the Internet's longest running emulation website. After 18 years, its creator decided to pull the plug on the site (or rather, the number one reason for its popularity -- all ROMs and ISOs are gone indefinitely) Why did they do this?
