The day before our hike a gentleman had to be airlifted off the trail when he became disoriented on the chains section. This hike is not a joke. It is beautiful but there is real risk involved. Please be safe. I made it to Scouts Lookout, while my son tackled the famous chains all the way to the summit! I am proud of his determination, endurance and bravery.
