The Day the Ugly Stik Broke

The weather and winds are finally settling down and it looks to be a great Summer of fishing and exploring. Big John had a Dr. apt this day so I was a loner in the boat. Went to reef #3 first and caught some bait and a LOT of small Trigger fish.. but wanted something bigger so took the short hop out to reef #11 hoping for some Beeliner action. The Vermilion Snapper (Beeliners) were scarce but the action was pretty constant and I finally was able to drop a cam to the bottom to see what the life looked like down there. One word.. amazing!
