Fiumicello che con l’onda is a cantata by an almost unknown Italian composer, Carlo Eustachio. Such is the wealth of wonderful music from seicento Italy that even composing a masterpiece like "Fiumicello" doesn't get you mentioned anywhere. Fortunately the song survived in manuscript and is now gradually gaining favour. We were glad to add our contribution! The somewhat mysterious text, also by Eustachio, is sung to a little river, flowing to and dissolving into the sea - we knew we had to use this evocative image in our video! Maikki took the brave plunge and ended up so far from the shoreline that the situation started to look a bit alarming. She survived, even if the video seems to suggest otherwise.
