In James 4:13-17, James confronts the quiet pride that makes us plan our lives as though God isn't part of them. Pastor Josh Huisman walks through the passage and shows that the issue isn't planning, it's the assumption that we are in charge — that tomorrow is ours to spend however we wish. James calls that what it is: arrogance. He reminds us that our lives are a mist, here and gone, and that the right posture is, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."
