Matt takes on a pro bono case which increases his frustration with the legal system: while investigating the white tiger's death he discovers evidence that leads him to Frank Castle. A tense reunion takes place between Frank and Matt which leads to an emotional moment with Frank confronting him about Foggy's death. Mayor Fisk is unhappy with the timescale from the bureaucracy to implement changes to Red Hook. We find out Fisk has Vanessa's ex-lover Adam imprisoned and tortured showing his darker side is still very much there, and a new villain known as Muse is seen taking blood from a young man.
