Shoga no Umi is a notable restaurant in Nagaoka that offers ginger soy sauce ramen with a unique character. We will get a closer look at its charms along with Ms. Otsuka's life-sized reaction. Upon entering the restaurant, Mr. Otsuka was greeted by the strong aroma of ginger. Wow, what a smell! I was impressed by the look of surprise on her face. The ginger soy sauce ramen covered with a pile of chashu pork was brought to the table. The clear soup was filled with a strong aroma of ginger. Finally, it was time to eat. When Ms. Otsuka took a sip of the soup, she said, “Wow! The ginger is amazing! But it tastes so good! But it tastes so good! The soup is based on a crisp soy sauce flavor, with a strong spiciness from the ginger. However, it is not just spicy. It has a refreshing aftertaste, and Mr. Otsuka praised it as a perfect dish for the cold season. The noodles are made of medium-thick noodles with a firm texture. The noodles intertwine perfectly with the soup and bring out the full flavor of the ginger. It's like you can smell the ginger from the noodles! I couldn't help but smile at Mr. Otsuka's surprised comment, “It's like I can smell the ginger from the noodles! The true essence of this ramen is the pork, which is placed on top of the ramen noodles in a heaping pile. At Shoga no Umi, they are particular about their chashu pork and season it differently depending on the part of the meat. Mr. Otsuka was impressed, “The meat is so tender, it melts in your mouth!
