IAMDDB is a singer, songwriter, actress, fashion icon, healer, and multidimensional artist who does not limit herself to any specific medium. Hailing from Manchester, UK with Angolan and Portuguese roots, she is a black woman currently on a mission of awakening and expressing every part of herself. Following in the footsteps of her favourite artist Bob Marley, her message is all about freedom, love, authenticity and empowerment, a movement at which black women are the centre of. IAMDDB is constantly pushing her artistic boundaries, releasing music that expresses every colour of emotion - including black. Her eclectic qualities shine as she traverses between sounds of trap, jazz, rage, reggae, r&b, soul, and a high-spirited fusion she has coined as urban jazz. Whether her melodies are intensely hued or light and bubbly, IAMDDB is here as a guiding light for all who come across her work. Her music reflects the energy of the transformational times we are in, leading us to authentic and wholesome expression whilst providing soundtracks to our evolution and healing journeys. IAMDDB garnered global attention with the breakout hit single 'Leaned Out' in 2016. From the very beginning her sound has always been about non-conformity and celebrating one's uniqueness. Since then, she has sold out multiple tours and has captivated her following with classic bodies of work: Waeveybby, Vol. 1, Vibe, Volume 2, which has produced the anthem “Pause”, Hoodrich Vol. 3, which features the smash single 'Shade' Flightmode, Vol. 4, the guided meditation that is Swervvvvv.5 and the playful 3 track Kare Package. Following the last volume in 2019, DDB has put out several singles including the dancehall inspired ‘Wahum’, the enchanting ‘JGL’ and the liberating ‘Silver Lines’. Her highly anticipated Volume 6 is set to drop in 2023 and will be her most experimental collection yet.
