Laura Bozzo responde a Eliane Karp y lanza dura acusación: “Me destruyeron”

Laura Bozzo once again captured public attention after a heated exchange with Eliane Karp, wife of former president Alejandro Toledo. The television host spoke out after Karp requested consideration for the former president due to his delicate health. During an interview with Milagros Leiva, Bozzo rejected criticism from those who claim her statements stem from resentment (for having been under house arrest) and maintained that her position is driven by a search for justice. “Never from resentment, because I hate resentment. I believe Peru needs unity,” she stated. However, she recalled the difficult times she experienced and asserted that it completely changed her life. The presenter recounted that the emotional impact of that period continues to affect her. “I wouldn't wish what I suffered on anyone,” she expressed, recalling the personal and family consequences she faced. She also stated that she suffered severe depression and continues to struggle with the psychological aftereffects that, she said, the ordeal left her with. Bozzo also launched harsh accusations against Eliane Karp and Alejandro Toledo, whom she blamed for profoundly affecting her life. “If what they wanted was to destroy me, to see me fall, they succeeded, they destroyed me. You killed me, sir, you killed me,” she declared. Later, the TV host asserted that to this day she cannot enter the United States, a situation she attributes to the consequences of events that occurred during Alejandro Toledo's administration. “I have two grandchildren in the United States and I can't enter because of the Toledos. The political side blacklisted me,” she stated. ANNOUNCES LAWSUIT AGAINST THE PERUVIAN STATE Laura also revealed that she is preparing a lawsuit against the Peruvian state for alleged violations of her rights during the legal proceedings she faced years ago. “I am going to sue the Peruvian state. I don't want revenge, I want justice,” she declared, maintaining that she was deprived of her freedom under a presumption of guilt that, she affirmed, was never proven. Regarding Alejandro Toledo's situation, Bozzo stated that she wishes him no ill will and affirmed that she has forgiven him. "May God forgive him. I have nothing against him," she said.
