🌺 Spectrum Bougainvillea 1447 Glaze Review: a pretty glaze with an awkward name

You voted, and I'm delivering: here's the Spectrum Bougainvillea (1447) glaze test! Spectrum do a great job with floating pink glazes, but is it different enough from Sangria to be worth having both in the studio? And how do you pronounce bougainvillea, anyway? Online I've seen Spectrum Bougainvillea look like everything from rose pink to hot pink, so the only way to know for sure is to test it! I put Spectrum Bougainvillea though its paces on white and buff clay at cone 6 and layer it with Amaco Snow, Spectrum Nori Green, Old Forge's Misty Forest, and Amaco Marigold Celadon, plus I try layering it with Spectrum Sangria and do a side-by-side comparison of the two to see which one is the best pink glaze. ‪@OldForgeCreations‬ Misty Forest Glaze recipe: https://glazy.org/recipes/228056 Clays I use in my studio: ⁨@ThePotterySupplyHouse⁩ 500 (red), 910 (porcelain), and 519 (white stoneware). ☕ Help bring future glaze reviews to life: buy me a coffee at https://buymeacoffee.com/maritimecera...
