【Vol#254】GPZ900Rで峠越え。三重県上野から琵琶湖まで御斎峠とアセボ峠を越えていく【日帰りツーリング】【三重】【滋賀】

This video shows me riding a GPZ900R through a mountain pass. Please note that there are no sightseeing scenes. Otogi Pass crosses the prefectural border from Iga City, Mie Prefecture, to Koka City, Shiga Prefecture. The road here is narrow and bumpy, but it offers a beautiful view of the Iga Basin. It's not the kind of pass you'd expect to tackle on a motorcycle. Next is Asebo Pass, which I cross from Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, to Konan City. This is a two-lane, fully paved road with a decent surface. This is a mountain pass where you'll find some street racers, so it's fun to ride, but there's also a golf course, so it's a road used by cars returning from golf. So, if you don't encounter any cars, it's perfectly enjoyable. This video shows me enjoying these two mountain passes on my way back to Shiga Prefecture. The weather was beautiful, perfect for touring, but the strong afternoon sun shone through the mountains, and the light alternated between dark and light.
