Conversación con Manuel Vicent

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 7:30 p.m., the auditorium of the Institución Libre de Enseñanza hosted this fantastic colloquium with the writer Manuel Vicent, who curated the exhibition "In Sorolla's Sea with Manuel Vicent" at the Sorolla Museum. The aim was to recreate the poetic and visual journey of the exhibition, so that the representation of the sea and its scenes in Sorolla's work would come to life anew through the literary and experiential narrative of the Valencian writer. Unlike the usual scholarly catalog, the unique nature of this project led Manuel Vicent to create an original literary work with the content of the exhibition's narrative expanded upon, interwoven with Sorolla's paintings.
