Naruto was already the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails since birth. But after the end of the Third Shinobi World War, both Matatabi and Isobu had fallen into the hands of Konoha, with the beast having worked closely. They had been killed on the day that Kurama had broken free. Choosing both Sasuke and Sakura, the Two and Three Tails were resealed, and began to train with their new vessels, however, Naruto lost control of Kurama and ended up mortally wounding Sasuke. Naruto never truly forgave himself for that, but with help from Matatabi, they sought out a location in the Land of Lightning where Naruto could train to master his Tailed Beast powers, with or without Kurama’s permission. Naruto, undergoing intense training, had managed to subdue Kurama and managed to avert a world war by showing that not only was Konoha a sleeping lion ready to pounce on anyone who dared step to it, but also proved that this generation of Beast Squad surpassed everything that had been seen up to that point. And due to their ability to strike anywhere at any time, the world was left shaking in its boots at the power Konoha displayed.
