Polka w Hongkongu. 10 tysięcy ludzi mieszka w jednym budynku!
Hong Kong is a dynamic city and one of the most important financial and commercial centers in the world. Located on the southern coast of China, Hong Kong impresses with its spectacular architecture, tall skyscrapers and picturesque views. It is a place with a rich mixture of cultures, combining Western and Eastern influences, which is visible both in the cuisine and cultural traditions. Hong Kong is also a famous tourist hub, offering many attractions including parks, beaches and historic districts. Even though Hong Kong is a special territory, it has its own law and system, although it remains under the sovereignty of the People's Republic of China. In today's episode of the Emigrants series, I talk to Wanda, who lives in Hong Kong. During our conversation we will find out: Why is Hong Kong expensive? Is Hong Kong part of China? Is it better to live in China or Hong Kong? What does Wanda do in Hong Kong? Is it difficult to learn Chinese? What's the weather like in Hong Kong? Is Hong Kong a country? During our conversation, Wanda will also tell us about an amazing building where over 10,000 people live. This building is called "Monster Building" and is a tourist attraction in Hong Kong. A Pole lives in this building and rents an apartment with an area of 11 square meters. Wanda will also share her impressions about living in such a small apartment. Later in the conversation, Wanda will tell us about mainland China, where she studied and lived for a long time. Our guest will also answer the question where it is better to live - in Hong Kong or in China. We also talked about Hong Kong cuisine, customs and cultural differences, as well as the Polish community in Hong Kong. It turns out that about 800 Poles live in Hong Kong, and there is even one Polish store. Here are some places worth seeing in Hong Kong: 1. Victoria Peak: Breathtaking view of the city from the Victoria Peak viewpoint. 2. Star Ferry: A ride on this historic ferry offers beautiful views of Victoria Harbor. 3. Avenue of Stars: A promenade of stars featuring sculptures and plaques honoring famous movie stars. 4. Kowloon Walled City Park: A historical park with a beautiful garden and the remains of a former stronghold. 5. Temple Street Night Market: A popular night market, perfect for shopping and sampling street snacks. 6. Chi Lin Nunnery: A tranquil Tang-style monastery surrounded by a beautiful garden. 7. Big Buddha: The huge Tian Tan Buddha statue at Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island. 8. Disneyland Hong Kong: Fun for the whole family in the magical world of Disney. 9. Repulse Bay: Picturesque beach and Tin Hau Temple. 10. Aberdeen Fishing Village: Traditional fishing village with bay cruises. These are just a few of the many attractions that Hong Kong has to offer. This city has a lot to offer both culture and history lovers and fans of modern entertainment.
