Dashti – Original Piano Composition by Kamran Khodaverdian

Dashti Dashti is an original composition and piano arrangement by Kamran Khodaverdian, composed several years ago and premiered during my piano recital in Auckland, New Zealand, in February 2019. This work is written in the Dashti mode, one of the traditional modes of Persian classical music. My strong and rich background in Persian music has profoundly influenced my compositional style, and this piece reflects that heritage through its melodic character and expressive language.
