This Environmental Science course is part of the Engineering Chemistry and Environmental Science course taught in the First Semester of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, UMY. Environmental Science covers the definition, issues, and challenges faced in environmental issues. Environmental science comes from two words: science and environment. Science is the effort to gain knowledge about how the earth works. Environmental science is an interdisciplinary science that utilizes concepts and information from the natural sciences, namely ecology, biology, chemistry, geology, and the social sciences, namely economics, politics, and law, to understand and study how the earth works, how humans affect the environment, and to solve current environmental problems.
