Apple’s ML Sharp Model on Vision Pro is Wild! (Turn Photos in 3D Scenes in Seconds)

Apple just released a new AI model called ML SHARP, and it’s honestly one of the most impressive things I’ve tried recently. SHARP takes a single image and turns it into a 3D Gaussian splat that you can actually move around inside. I ran it locally on my Mac and then viewed the results on Apple Vision Pro, where you can literally step inside the photo. This isn’t a scan. You don’t need LiDAR. You don’t need a video or multiple photos. It’s one image, processed locally, in seconds. This feels like the beginning of something special. It’s about rethinking how we experience memories. If you’re curious about spatial computing, Apple Vision Pro, or where AI is heading next, you’re going to love this.
