Tesla Model Y - FSD Coast To Coast Attempt Part 2

Tesla FSD has been a topic of contention across the globe for quite some time now. Even I have been critical of it in the past, and when Elon Musk announced that FSD was to transition to vision only, I was quite skeptical that it would be possible. Fast forward to FSD V12, which came out about a year and a half ago, and I was so taken aback, I changed my opinion on this being a feasible solution for wide adoption. Yes, there are still some gaps that need addressed, but FSD has come to be a daily used thing for me. We recently took delivery of our AI4 Tesla Model Y Refresh and this Juniper comes equipped with the latest and greatest from Tesla. Our Juniper Model Y has been incredible on FSD, and HW4 is incredible in its capabilities. I have been so impressed with the performance of FSD V13, that I have been putting it to new challenges on road trips and thousands of miles. FSD continues to absolutely blow my mind, even when traveling across states and cities all over the United States. In fact, on a recent 1k mile trip to Indiana from Florida, I had the pleasure of experiencing a true non-stop charger to charger FSD trip without taking over. It was after this trip that for the first time I really thought FSD may be capable of going coast to coast on FSD without takeover. Fast forward to today, and I have taken the trip from Orlando Florida to San Diego, which is the start line, to answer the question once and for all: Can FSD go Coast to Coast without intervention? It is extremely important to note that even in our brand new 2026 Tesla Model Y, FSD V13 is SUPERVISED, meaning the system does not allow you to operate without paying attention. In fact, if you dont pay attention, the system will prompt you to pay attention or it will disengage and lock you out until the next drive.
