Ryanair Malta Air Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 | London Stansted to Riga *Full Flight*

This video is property of Train&Plane Spot! 2160p 4K HD! Onboard another low cost flight with Ryanair from Stansted, this time to a new destination and a new country altogether for me. Riga, the Capital of Latvia. The purpose of my trip was to visit the Air Museum and get myself on an Air Baltic A220 on the return sector. This flight cost me only £34 so I couldn't resist a little overnight trip really. During the take off the mid winter sun lighting and scratched window combination made for some good lighting and my camera struggled to focus but as soon as we were actually airborne and turning some beautiful views over Essex as we turn towards the East and climb. This was filmed between the two seasons which hit the UK just a week apart. So just days after winter and a few weeks before spring. These weather systems created some immense jetstreams over Europe, feeding from the Atlantic resulting in the flight time to Riga being just 2 hours 11 mins. Some 40 minutes quicker than planned. So despite a late start out of Stansted we were down in Riga 25 minutes behide of scheduled.
