Put-In-Bay, Ohio

Join us for the final day of our Michigan Road Trip as we head into Sandusky, Ohio and take a Fourth of July weekend day trip to Put-In-Bay! We kicked things off with our arrival night at the Dockside Cafe, where we enjoyed good food, live music, and that classic Lake Erie summer vibe. The next day, we caught our pre-booked ferry to Put-In-Bay—you’ll want to book ahead because tickets were completely sold out when we arrived! Traveling with our two dogs, Ember (Labrador Retriever) and Larry (Corgi), made this trip extra memorable—but also came with a few challenges. We explored parks, beaches, and even a dog park, grabbed lunch, dinner, and ice cream, and cruised around the island in a golf cart rental (definitely the highlight of the day!).
