Kinect: Curiosity or Forgotten? The Kinect tried to ride the wave of the Nintendo Wii, and despite games like Kinect Sports, Sonic Free Riders and Fruit Ninja Kinect, the technology never really took off. But it's a cool curiosity to revisit, if you can get a working sensor. PlayStation 3 in 2025: Is it still worth it? Yes, but with some reservations. The PS3 had a rough start, but shone in the final stretch of the generation, delivering incredible exclusive games, such as: God of War III and Ascension Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 Ratchet & Clank: Future Saga PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Gran Turismo 5 and 6 And it also received ports of God of War from the PSP and PS2, in addition to several Japanese titles that didn't make it to the Xbox, such as Gundam, One Piece and Dragon Ball. If your PS3 is compatible (or unlocked), you can even play PS1, PS2, and even PSP games, further expanding the value of your library. The Problem: Online and PSN The PS3's PSN is technically still up and running, but it's getting slower and more limited.
