The Shield is no doubt one of the greatest and most loved acts in the history of the WWE. From 2012 until 2014 in their original run, The Shield was dominating the WWE. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, (Jon Moxley) and Seth Rollins were the future. By 2014, once the group had finally turned face, they had basically every single WWE fan behind them. There was finally a group in the WWE that the fans did not want to see end, and it seemed as if the dominance of The Shield was just beginning.. however that was not the case, instead the end was near.
