Making Sense of DERWENT [So THAT’S Why They Have All Those Colored Pencils!]

Watch me color with Derwent colored pencils an autumn coloring page of a fox and owl, printed on toned-tan paper! In the end, I used 4 different pencil lines: Derwent Drawing, Derwent Procolour, Derwent Lightfast & Derwent Coloursoft. I have to admit that it was a bit tricky getting all 4 of these pencil types to play well together, but I think I did a decent job. In the past I also have to admit that I have been somewhat frustrated whenever looking for Derwent pencil info. Their website just wasn’t that helpful. However, it seems that they have made available some great information that I’m excited to share with you! Not only do they have info on all of their pencil lines, and the purpose of each. But they also have a feature now where you can build your own tin! So cool. I wish that all coloring product companies would do that!
