The Gospel of John was written to testify that Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. The Word who existed from the beginning became flesh and came into the world, and through numerous signs and teachings, He revealed Himself to be the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Good Shepherd, and the Resurrection and the Life. However, many rejected Him and eventually crucified Him. Jesus said, "It is finished," and died, but He rose again on the third day. He appeared to His disciples, restored their faith, and opened the way to eternal life.
