Myka 9 Release Party 1999

October 13, 1999 @ some spot in Los Angeles, was this Dragon's Den, sorry I don't remember the name of the venue. This was Myka's album release party that ended up being a history class on Myka 9's journey as an emcee. It turns out I went to the same elementary school as Myka 9, Walgrove! I remember at the time I was filming this I just wanted to hear this talented human rhyme. Looking at it now I was very fortunate to capture Myka dropping mad knowledge and kicking some verses in between lessons. This man created a style that so many emcees bit it really is incredible.
