Russel Fouts - Ceramics Masters Series - Clay and Slip with Ken Turner

Russel Fouts is a very knowledgeable and skilled potter producing beautiful ceramic work from his home in Belgium. Russell shares a couple of forming techniques he uses to create his pieces and talks about his firing technique. I had the fortune of meeting Russel through our mutual friend Marcia Selsor in 2019 where we presented at NCECA as a discussion group with Judith Motzkin on the topic of alternative low fire techniques, How Low Can You Go moderated by Paul Andrew Wandless. Challenging the norm Russel Fouts has developed the lowest of low fire techniques I’m aware of. Russel has taught workshops, lectured, and has shown his work internationally. He also has several publications under his belt.
