In these instructions we lay segmental arch paving in grit. To lay segments you need mixed natural stone paving. The best materials for this are: granite, basalt and porphyry. In the first step, a gravel subgrade is created with the excavator to create a construction height of approx. 15cm for the paving in the grit. After the mason's line has been tightened, the paving grit is evenly distributed. Paving is done with a paving hammer for natural stone. You can find out how the segmental arches are divided and laid in the video. After the paving work, the area is swept with the grit and smoothed out with a vibrating plate.
