This video aims to create awareness about the lack of proper testing against claims made specifically about "vegan" calligraphy brushes. If the seller calls it vegan, we can ask them to provide clarity on bristle material. This video shows how you can do a simple home test to find out if the material of your favorite brush is made of animal hair or if it is indeed vegan. P.S.: My intent is only to highlight the discrepancy in calling a brush vegan when it is the product of a cruel killing. The purpose of this video is to help others who are looking for vegan brushes, understand the differences so they can make an informed choice, or at least ask pertinent questions.
