Tangier Raw: Surviving a Near-Robbery & Exploring Tangier's Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave & Old Medina

Filmed in 4k DJI Osmo Nano & Pocket 3 DJI Sometimes travel isn't all sunshine—it’s about how you handle the unexpected. After a tense night nearly being targeted by pickpockets, I decided to shake it off and hit the road to see what Tangier is truly about. In this vlog, I take you along for a full day of exploration. We start by leaving the hotel and hopping on the hop-on, hop-off bus to head for Cap Spartel. There is something special about the gardens there; the way the greenery frames that historic, weathered lighthouse is something else. I spent time just soaking in the views at the exact point where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea—the energy at that intersection is unmatched. When the bus didn't come back on time, I pivoted, grabbing a taxi to make sure I made it to the Hercules Cave. It was absolutely packed, so I took another taxi to the heart of the old Medina. There’s no better way to understand a city than to just walk through its veins. I wandered through the maze of the old town, eventually finding my way out toward the marina to end the day with some fresh air. This is 40+ minutes of raw, honest travel—no manufactured scenarios, just the real experience of moving through Tangier. 0:00 – Intro A wake-up call: The reality of my near-robbery last night. 3:00 – Hop on Hop off Bus Tour to taking in the sights of Tangier 4:30 – The meeting point: Looking out where the two seas collide. 10:00 – Cap Spartel on top of the Lighthouse looking out & History 20:45 – The detour: Why I skipped the Hercules Cave. 23:00 – Taxi to Old Medina 24:00 Old Medina Tangier Walking through towards the Marina
