🔎 Discover our professional lighting search engine now ➡️ https://todo-lux.com --- We interviewed Mario Raitelli, from Argentina, Head of the Department of Lighting Technology, Light and Vision at the National University of Tucumán, and Pablo Chavarría, from Uruguay, an electrical engineer from UDELAR and manager of the Public Lighting Technical Unit at the Montevideo City Hall. In this conversation, we discussed Luxamérica 2026, the Ibero-American Lighting Congress to be held in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 21, 22, and 23, 2026. We also presented the Illuminated Spaces Image Contest, an initiative open to professionals, students, and anyone involved in the world of lighting, architecture, design, and the management of lighting installations. The competition will have two categories: ➡️ Interior Spaces ➡️ Exterior Spaces Participants can submit photographs, renderings, sketches, plans, or other graphic resources that help explain how the space is illuminated and how the design works. Participation can be individual or in groups, and prior registration for the congress is not required to enter the competition. The submission deadline is July 1st, and the winning entries will be awarded during Luxamérica 2026 in Montevideo, with a prize of $1,000 per category.
